Publishing Questions

Publishing a forecasting question makes it accessible to anyone with its URL, without requiring authentication. This enables broader participation through guest forecast submissions and is useful for gathering forecasts from a broad audience beyond your organization.

Publishing a Question

To publish a question, toggle the publish setting from the question page. Published questions display a notice indicating they are public.

What Published Questions Enable

• Public viewing - Anyone can see the question, its background information, and the current consensus
• Guest forecasting - Visitors can submit forecasts by providing their name and email, without creating an account
• Embeddable - Published questions can be linked from external sites or shared via any channel

Sharing Links

Every question has two shareable links available from the question page:

• Question link - Opens the question’s summary view, showing the current consensus and all forecast details
• Forecasting link - Opens the forecast submission form directly, making it easy for invitees to submit their estimates

Both links can be copied with a single click from the question header.
